The Chester Schools PTO

Personal
Information
When you register with
the PTO, you receive a Member ID and are able to take full
advantage of all web-based features. When you register,
we collect certain information about you such as your name,
email address, phone number and more. Based on your use of various
features, we may
collect additional information as required. In addition, any emails
or other correspondence may be tracked as well.
We provide a link to this privacy
statement anytime personal information is collected from a user.
Cookies
A "cookie" is a very small amount of
information that is sent to your web browser from a web server and
stored on your computer's hard drive. The use of cookies allows for
default login processing and for remembering your
personalized settings.
Internet IP
Addresses
Each computer that is online to
the Internet has a unique "address" that is used to
identify that computer to all other Internet users. For most users,
this address is dynamically assigned at connect time by their
service provider. We collect this information, along with
your member-id, for the purpose of tracking and analyzing
usage statistics is for internal systems administration purposes.
Non-Disclosure
Unless specifically agreed to by you or under
special conditions such as when the law may require it, the PTO
will not purposefully disclose any personal information collected
from you. Please be aware that this policy only applies to the
specific domain (those pages under the PTO
directory). Opening other web sites from within this site,
such as following links to
external sites, may result in those hosts collecting additional information
about you. The PTO is not responsible for this information.
Your PTO member-id and account can be
deleted at any time, but doing so will result in the loss of access
to member-only areas and your personalized settings.
Ultimately, you are solely responsible for
maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account
information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're
online.
Childrens
Privacy
While this site is targeted to both parents and
students, as with any Internet site, this site is a
general access site. Parents should be aware of the sites their
children are using. In addition, children should always be
instructed to ask a parent for permission before sending personal
information to anyone online.
